Conan Exiles - Play Online on Linux

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Install ProtonUp-Qt:

   flatpak install flathub net.davidotek.pupgui2

   Or download from: ProtonUp-Qt GitHub

2. Launch ProtonUp-Qt from your application menu.
3. Install GE-Proton:
   • Click "Add version"
   • Select "GE-Proton" from the compatibility tool dropdown
   • Click "Install" on the latest version (e.g., GE-Proton9-21)
   • Wait for it to download and install
4. Set Conan Exiles to use GE-Proton:
   • Right-click Conan Exiles in Steam
   • Properties → Compatibility
   • Check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
   • Select GE-Proton9-21 (or the version you installed)
5. Delete the compatdata folder for a fresh start:

   rm -rf ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/440900/

6. Launch Conan Exiles and enjoy!
